Mayacama Industries is the employment & vocational training program for UVAH. It was established as Ukiah Valley Rehabilitation Workshop in 1964 to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving economic self-sufficiency and vocational independence. All Mayacama services are CARF accredited.



Mayacama Industries provides the following services primarily in community settings:

  • Job Training
  • Vocational Counseling and Referral
  • Work Experience
  • Support services in social and other work related skills
  • Supported Employment
  • Vocational Assessments

Enters into service contracts for and provides training in:

  • Motel and Domestic Housekeeping
  • Minor Assembly & Packaging
  • Kitchen Aide Services
Mayacama Industries
also operates a bulk mailing service providing folding, stapling, collating and preparation of newsletters and other mailings

Mayacama Employment Service
is a Mendocino Works partner co-located at Mendocino Works Employment Resource One-Stop Center in Ukiah. It is funded by the Mendocino Private Industry Council, Inc. Department of Rehabilitation and Redwood Coast Regional Center.

Mayacama Industries is prepared to serve all eligible people living in inland Mendocino County.
Referrals are typically made through Redwood Coast Regional Center and/or the Department of Rehabilitation.
